I agree 100% with intro94 , 30 is fair..At 20 its a bargain as its not a terrible effort by all means especially if you value production.. Unfortunately it seems the development budget was mostly spent in that area and for an open world adventure it was very much linear(too linear for its own good). Sure the world is large and you can travel anywhere you want by the end of it but the question is, why would you want to do that? Every scenario in the game areas battles or otherwise just loop to infinity.. Again like intro94 says, it feels unfulfilled .

I do hope that further CC games have that in-game screencap option though. Or more games regardless.

But it does show that the graphics on the Wii can be a lot more than assumed, as the graphics are this detailed, but the levels are streaming.

Do not buy it full price. Wait a while until it is like ~$25
That has been the overwhelming consensus. Other greater games are worth your money.

The game looks good and has a very interesting story, but the controls aren't precise at all and it really detracts from the fun of the game.

I agree with the consensus, wait until its cheaper.

As for my own thoughts, I really like Crystal Bearers a lot. I really do. But as most people have said, it suffers from the clunky camera controls and scanty length. Which is a shame, because a game with graphics this breathtaking and a genuinely fun entertainment value should be ten times longer. Still, it's not a bad game in the least; it's probably better if you buy it for a less expensive price, though. It's an 8/10 game at best.

Even so, I do expect Dragon Quest X, S-E's next big game for Wii (and hopefully not last) to be miles better and more commercially successful.

I bought it and the controls sucked. I got pretty pissed off within two hours of gameplay and decided to forgo playing it. I plan on trading it in for the strategy guide to Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold. I suggest you forgo a purchase it is not worth the 49.99$ you'll pay for it!

The controls work, just that the way they work can be really weird for some. As in the controls do what they are supposed to do, just that what they do can be off-putting.

its a decent game, great production values, but shitty gameplay. $30 is too much, $20 i more like it.

i bought the game at full price, i dont regret it, i enjoy the game a lot. ive only had the time to play through it once and i felt i got my moneys worth.

i find it great until now, although i have only played just 1 hour....

got to finish No More Heroes 2 and Rabbids first : P
