According to them, its even better. Just scalable. So you can use it on consoles and PCs, and they say its "next gen ready" so i am assuming that it can be used on the next gen of consoles.(or so they hope)
I thought they were also adding to the PC engine as well as getting it to work on consoles.
Congrats Crytek... alongside Epic and iD IMO they are the best 3rd party game engine developers out there

If used correctly, it might be nice. At least we won't have to wait 2 years after Crysis 2 comes out before the general public can afford a computer that can run it at a decent framerate.
I think they should win the award for "Most screenshots for a single game without any actual gameplay". Seriously, they should just sell the Crysis screenshots in a pack for 19.99$.

I joke about this a lot, but it is in many ways true - Crysis is used more as a benchmarking tool than as a game, really. >_>
Well Crysis 2 is coming to consoles so is it using the cryengine3?
GamerTag/PSN ID JoshmyersBV (please add me I have 2 friends on Xbox Live)
Yes crysis 2 is using the cryengine 3.
http://mycryengine.com/ it does seem pretty badass when you look at the tech involved.
I am okay with many screen shots of the game if it looks like this.
