why can't they make a Star Wars game based off the original movies........every generation I wait for an announcement that says the original episodes will be made into games (not Lego)

and I never get it, I'm starting to get pissed

I mean seriously when was the last time we had games based on the originals? SNES, and that was a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away) - yes i had to do that - they need to make the originals for the new consoles

Rogue Squadron games are set in the original trilogy's timeline

Meh. I'm still waiting for Lego Lord of the Rings Trilogy (which I expect around the launch of The Hobbit movie)

Oh, that was cruel. I was really, really hoping for KOTOR 3 or Battlefront III.
I'm skeptical about this. I really enjoyed Lego Star Wars (the complete set, or whatever it's called), but I'm not so sure about this. From what I saw of that cartoon, it was rather awful.

true, but the majority were flying missions (which were fun)....and in Rougue Squadron 3 the third person levels were not that fun because they weren't done that well

I want a game based on the movies not just set in the timeline.....something like the SNES games previosly mentioned, but for this generation of consoles (and that is not Lego)
