i like how ps3 slim looks its soo sexy xD soo shud i trade my old ps3 for the slim?? i dont use linux btw and i dont play over 5 hours a day ( if that matters ) lol

I don't see why not if you're not paying extra. Unless you have the BC on the old model and play previous PS1 and PS2 games.

I say go for it then, at the very least you get an extended warrenty should the worst happen.

Does your big PS3 have backwards compatible? If so, do you use it? How much more will it cost you to trade it in?

yeah my original ps3 plays ps2/ps1 games but who cares i dont play them anyways lol ^^ ill just play them on my ps2 which is still here collecting dust unfortunately :P

Do it!!!! I did and paid a lot extra (AU$240) -.- PS3 slim is more portable, 120GB, new warranty, no huge power adapter bla bla bla. And like Kantor says backup! Although whilst using utility I couldn't backup RE5 save game data coz it was protected :(
