I came in here expecting Leo'J to plug Lady Gaga again or something

That was my first thought too when entering the thread.  I figured she had done some stupid MTV Unplugged thing and people were going to fall all over that.

Meh, I just saw a decent at best cover of a good song.

I thought you were going to post something like this:

THAT is a beautiful song. But about halfway through I started to be bothered by the lack of a microphone. I realized that it was a music video, and that made the entire experience less real. Othrewise, goodie goodie.

A good opera singer knows how to project their voices and doesn't need a mic shoved straight in their faces.  a good church like that probably doesn't need one in her face.

Anyways though, if you think that song is good, this one is great:

Yes. I enjoyed that very much, thank you. And she's on spotify! Awesomesauce!

The most beautiful song ever written.

Haha, great stuff. But it always reminds me of how hard it is for Slayer to top their old songs.

I remember reading Q magazines top 1001 songs ever, I was impressed* when I saw that Angel of death came in at number 52... It's a great song.

Anyway, I'm not fussy about new stuff, there is very little good stuff released by 80's thrash metal bands nowadays; but what they recorded back then was amazing.

(*As Q magazine is a shallow trend following music magazine)

The Youth Group cover is far better then that tired version. The Original Alphaville version is great though a little too 80's for me.

I think Sigur Ros do really beautiful music.

It's funny this generation thing, that there's young people who discover this beautiful song through a raped version lol.

Haha!

U don't like it btw, not even in it's original version?

Well, Im young(19) and Im glad I knew the original one before this one, or else it would have kept me away from the song.

some of you guys are so negative, that if music isn't from the 80s 70s or earlier, it sucks no matter what.
