Not everyone has your tastes, apparently. I purchased White Knight Chronicles. And I regret spending the $60 and wish I had just saved it for Heavy Rain at the end of the month - the game is the very definition of mediocre. I also purchased Star Ocean 4 on the 360 and regret that expenditure as well - though far more. Whereas WKC is mediocre, SO4 is mind bendingly awful.

The only redeeming part of this game is the battle system.

The dialog is awful, the script is awful, the characters are awful, the character design is awful, the voice actors are awful (switching over to Japanese doesn't help much in this case, unfortunately), the graphics are awful (environments suck, characters look like plastic dolls and the game does't even render in 720p) and this game has the most annoying child character ever.

Though... It is kinda hilarious when you get over how awful it is.

 And I want you to not be a jerk, but apparently neither of us are going to get what we want. Life isn't all sunshine and roses and you can't kick someone out of the clubhouse just because they don't share your optimism.

Seriously, anyone who doubts me and really has their hopes and dollars pinned on this game needs to take the spoiler jump and watch the cutscene I linked. I know many will soldier on anyways because they're already set in their intentions but I bet it'll save some people $60 that's not going to make their soul hurt.
