Forums - General Discussion - Obama uses worker buried in campaign t-shirt as a prop

Detestable.

If you can't remember her name, then fine. But don't talk about her, then!! I'm from St. Louis. Please don't disrespect us like this., Mr. President.

And yes, Barack, we ARE better off blocking these current health care reforms that are being passed without even being read. The Republicans actually have alternative reforms, you know. Get a grip.

The problem is he is telling a message that just is not true. In the past, what's worked for him is to lie about something enough, that people will just start thinking it's true. Like 4-5 months ago when he said the recession was over.

He keeps saying the other side has offered no ideas, and wants to do nothing about the problems of the US, and that's just a lie. It's not a misconception on his part, it's a bold face lie.

This kind of stuff, over the long haul, just does not help you. He is going down hill fast.

Conservative policies got us into this mess. The only "ideas" they offer would either do nothing or make things worse.

Obama was being kind when he said that they offered nothing.  What he needs to do is grab a baseball bat and start busting balls.

Sorry, but that's wrong. Conservative politics have taken away your personal freedoms, but there ideas on economy is dead on.

Just because you don't like them, does not make then wrong.

I think we're all confusing conservative with Republican here. I believe what he was trying to say was that Republican policies have gotten us into this mess, and I agree (they contributed alongside with Democratic policies). If that's not what he was saying, well then, that was kind of weird.

Sorry, but that's not logical. If both parties did it along side each other, then it's government policies, not Republican or Democrat. The problem is both parties spend way to much money. The worst offender of this in the lifetime of the US however, is the government in place right now, so it's hard to say anyone other then who we have in office today is the problem.

While I see where your coming from, the poster I was replying to was implying that the other way got us into all this, so they should shut up and let this way work.
The problem is, the "other way" and "this way" and the same damn way, just a lot more of it.

Uhh... I worked on Obama's campaign but met him 2 years earlier. I don't really expect him to remember my name either... dude has a lot of names and faces to remember.

You met Obama? That is so cool.

Okay, but he wasn't exploiting your heart-wrenching tale in a speech, was he? "I'll never forget old what's her face and how horribly she suffered."

*Goes green with envy*

All protestant and catholic(1!) presidents have been bad.

Oh, I just called all presidents of the USA bad. Silly me.

Electing a president is nothing more then voting for the cool guy.  Having a president... Doesn't work... Just look at Italy and France. Laughing stock of Europe. Let's add Greece and Spain to that list as well.

And don't comment on me saying that my country is the laughing stock of Europe. No one knows us.

To end my post with the famous words of Sarcozy...

Casse toi pauvre con.

Good luck getting re-elected(Sarcozy and Obama)

So wait, it couldn't just be Democratic and Republican policies (since both parties hold influence in government)? How is what I said not logical at all?

Stop with the rhetoric, I've heard it a billion times before.
