Here are 4 reasons why the rumor about Sonic being in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is false:

1) If it could be true, which it can't, it would come from the actual NGamer magazine, not Twitter.

2) It said "More teasing from our insider:". That right there gives it away!

3) In case you haven't already noticed, Green Hill Zone is from the original Sonic the Hedgehog game, which means that Green Hill Galaxy is a RIPOFF of the original Sonic game.

4) Sonic would have to pull off Mario's moves to progress/earn Power Stars, which means swimming! We all know that is something Sonic cannot do.

I don't know what all of you think, but that's why I cracked up about the rumor. (I also posted this on Gaming Discussion.)

Um... those reasons don't make any sense.

1. Ok, I'll give you that one.
2. Teasing means they give you a little bit of information and make you beg for more.
3. Of course they'd be pulling the name from a Sonic game--that's kinda the point o.O
4. Ever played Sonic 1-3? He does plenty of swimming... or at least, he spends a fair amount of time underwater, so they could easily let him swim if they wanted to.


It's likely not going to happen, but you could have easily come up with better reasons.

I thought this was more on the subtle side.

I know I don't have official proof. It's just that I didn't know that all (or most) of you picked up on my reasons before I mentioned them. I'm not trying to sound like an idiot or anything.
