You should pick up a wireless controller for your PC, its an Xbox 360 controller with a 2.4Ghz dongle. I hate having cords snaking around my PC so im getting one of those.

my ould friend kirk! How are you!

Also. eh seems like a lot of work. Will I need to set up any software? I don't really care too much about the wires. It is annoying when it tangles with my keyboard and headset though. >.> oh and whoever asked if I have steam, yes I do. My account is Raoh52. anyone can add me if they would like.

Great man, thanks! I had to wake up at 4.40am this morning due to an evil dog which I won't name.

Its plug and play, so you don't have to worry, and its a Microsoft controller on a Microsoft operating system, it'll plug in and work first time most likely.

Wired 360 controllers are PC compatible out of the box.

Well, my problem is PC games look pretty poor on my current laptop, however I am getting a new PC with i7 quad core, 8GB of RAM and 1GB of vRAM, so I might get a few more, namely Dragon Age Origins as they will actually look great.

I do already get RTS, as they are clearly superior on PC, despite my love of Halo Wars, but even then, it would have been much better on the PC as it would have had much more depth

Despite the cheaper prices of PC games, it is achievements and trophies which will stop me getting most games on PC

Thats the same proc i have. The i7 is killer.

Dragon age is a full point better on PC than consoles. Good choice. Also M/K is better for fps. Mabye some people prefer controlers but all thing being equal M/K own DA.

The only reason to like consoles more are cost and wanting to play on the couch. Oh and head aches like compatability issues and that kind of stuff. And thats no small point, these issuse are very painfull to deal with sometimes.

The thing i love about Steam is they seem to be consoldating the PC games into one network. People on my friends list can see my games and the ones im playing at that time. We can form groups and recruit new people for clan and stuff. Build in voice chat. You can see how long you have played any game you own as well as all your friends. Anytime a friend of mines does anything, ie buys a game or playes a game for the first time, or GET AN ACHIEVMENT, yes PC game shave achievments, i can see it on the comunity tab.

If Steam can somehow pull all the games for PC into one consolidated network it could change PC gaming forever.

Last but not least, nowadays PC games are cheaper and you get a better overall experience (customizable graphics, better controls than consoles), and a lot of exclusive PS360 consoles games tend to end on PC anyway.

I have the second highest trophy score of all my friends already lol. 3 plats!

I play my PC games and console games on the same TV in the same chair etc etc lol. My setup is badass.
