Since games aren't locked order them cheaper from amazon.com (not amazon.ca) and buy some from bestbuy and gamestop. I got Valkaryia Chronciles 20 USD new.

Do I need to worry about fees sending this stuff across the border? How about shipping cost differences?

Infamous is a new game at a lower than original price and its fun

But old games that you can probablly find in a gamestop for cheap and are fun.

Resistance
The Darkness

Ratchet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction

Uncharted

Heavenly Sword

And I heard but never tried Folklore

Well I will still say MGS4 anyway as its the best game on the system, cliche? so be it, if somethings so amazing you gotta say it, just like how dogs are the cutest things on this planet.

Next I would say get some RPG's as you like them.

Get:

Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, should be very cheap now

Littlebigplanet (should also be very cheap)

Ratchet & Clank Tools Of Destruction

Or just save money for huge games in March

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Oh, inFamous should be cheap, and is longlasting and amazing

infamous is boring, you won't like it khuutra!

Yes you do. Amazon.com will rape you with shipping fees. One website that I use from time to time is estarland.com, but your best bet is just going to a small independent game store.

I think I read in another thread that you live in Toronto. If that's correct, I would recommend Game Centre. The store is in a mall on Yonge Street, one block south of Bloor. If I'm mistaken, just ignore this whole paragraph.

As for great games that are cheap, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction comes to mind.

You could get some PSN games too khuutra.

Wipeout HD is fun

Gamestop.com's shipping fees ar much more reasonable, it would seem.

And you are right. I just looked them up in a Toronto listing, they sound really great, easily worth the 45-minute walk. They do game rentals too, is that right?

I'm not sure if they offer rentals, but you should be able to find older new games and used games at great prices. Their new release prices are nothing special though.

I just bought a ps3 around christmas time (and just made this account) and I suggest you take a look on the futureshop and bestbuy sites since htey always have deals. I usually buy my games there and since theres so many old games, theyre all cheap. I picked up assassin's creed, bioshock and oblivion all for 40 bucks. and then a little later, I got MGS4 and dead space for 40 bucks. There's others, depends what genres you're in to.

also they give free shipping if you spend 39$ or more (although so does amazon.ca so don't bother with amazon.com where you'll be charged shipping and border fees (insanely high)...if you're too lazy to go to the store lol

EDIT: also theres the controller and uncharted or ratchet bundles for 60 bucks. both games aloen are 30$
