1)uncharted 2, simply flawless on every level, a technical achievement and bench mark for the industry, plus it has heart, the charcters are memorable and i still play the multi-player to this day.

2) mass effect 2, the most engaging and humanistic video game characters ever created i lost three people in this game, and i felt bad for everyone of them.

3)Metal gear solid 4, the reason i bought a ps3, it suffers from lengthy overdone cutscenes, but you know what, who cares, i wanted those lengthy cutscenes becuase i needed to know how solid snake spends his last moments on the battlefield.


Honorable mentions, LBP, dead space, gears of war, and valkyria chronicles.

Nothing beats rome total war.Men have died trying to get hold of it.No but seriously,maybe im just obsessed with ancient warfare but this game ticks all of my boxes...i mean the battles are just so amazing,iv waited all 15 years of my life to get that kindof game.I love alexander simply cos it lets you try and beat the acheivments of one of the greatest military geniuses in history.Even though iv had a ps2 and ps3 iv probably played more time on pc simply cos of one game.I cant really htink of anything that better than those three games. Maybe just cause

So is Alexander worth it?


Well be warned,it is extremely hard.I myself havnt completed the campaign as it it seriously hard with the ultra short time limit,however i really enjoy the historical battles...It hasnt got a huge amount of depth and theres only 4 factions....its more if your a fan/studier on alexander

Well I'm more interested in the main campaign rather than the historical battles... It's £10 on Steam, so I'll wait for some deal on it
