PS3 wins this week by 6k, extending the streak to 10 consecutive weeks.

I'm assuming Macross and maybe Red Dead are top sellers there, maybe Enslaved?  *Looks at Wii again*......*facepalm*

BTW Japan is the only region where Wii doesn't grow this week, but it drops instead.

Well last dead aweful week for wii in japan... kirby finally releases and after that super mario collection with red wii bundle. Im sure that will spice things up a bit

Nah current title is good. It's good remainder how things can change in the few months on the console wars front.

And btw i wonder if red wii will be able to outsell 2nd or 3rd week of GT5 boost.

Upcoming week goes to the PS3 for sure.
Next is Kirby week, so that week is probably going to the Wii.
Then it's Move's launch, a new PS3 SKU and there's quite a few games launching for the PS3, while Wii gets Super Mario Collection, so my guess is that week goes to the PS3.
The following week will also go to the PS3 due to the Winning Eleven 2011 launch along with a new PS3 bundle.
After that, PS3 is getting GT5 and the Blue PS3 bundle, so that week obviously goes to the PS3.
On the week that follows, Wii will be getting the Red Wii, WiiMote Plus and a new WSR WiiMote Plus bundle, so I don't know which console will be winning the week, mainly because of the GT5/Blue PS3 effect still going, I'm thinking it will be a close one, but Wii will probably be on top.
Proceeding week, PS3 is getting yet another SKU with Torne bundled along with many games, so that week should be going to the PS3.
Last week of November, things will be close, as PS3 is getting Trinity Zill O'll Zero and Wii is getting Mario Sports Mix, that week will probably be too close to call.

I'm not gonna guess December yet, there are probably games that are going to get dated for the month.

lol.  Mario Collection and Red Wii are totally going to save Nintendo's ass in Japan.

Too bad Nintendo's not actually releasing much in terms of NEW GAMES to drive sales. Their Wii approach is totally a band-aid solution.  It's depressing. :/

Yeah, how much more predictable than a Mario game to save them for a bit and a color change.  When you say new games, you mean new games of old ip's or new franchises?  And when trestres said Mario Sports Mix, is that like Wii Sports with Mario....genius lol.

When I say "new games" I mean something that's not a SNES ROM plus emulator pressed on a disc. :/

Though really, Nintendo's own lineup is probably okay enough, it's more the void of 3rd party filler that's really killing Wii in Japan.  You'd think Wii games came on carts or something the way 3rd parties have treated it. :/
