i think sonic and the secret rings really is selling strong here in europe, it was in last weeks top three on the wii in here in switzerland and at the moment it even looks as if it is sold out, because i couldn't find it in any shop today.

Well, yes and no. I think like most others they will have a mix, hopefully (for them) hitting the happy medium where the games that fit Wii are developed for Wii (Sonic) and the ones that fit other platforms are developed for them. Since the demise of Sega hardware Sonic has always sold best on Nintendo platforms, so it makes perfect sense for them this way.

I wouldn't say that. Fans loves it(saying it's one of the best 3D Sonic games, if not the best). And even with negative reviews, it still got a 72% on Gamerankings, which isn't awful(expecially as some reviews used 5 as the average, not 7). It's definatly aa step in the right dirrection. I thibnk they would be better of to stick with the Act concept and ditch the missions.

sonic for the wii was probably the best 3d sonic out, isnt it? all the others have been complete jank, the wii has at least started progression in the right direction. more exclusive third party support and love for nintendo.

If you have the option put the voice actings on Japanese, they're amazing! I've got the JP version myself and except of the repeating sounds I really love the game. Camera shakes at times when Sonic jumps but the speed, missions really makes the game interesting. Can't say that I regret every penny of buying this game Sonic for WII only is the best move as probably the game sells more on the WII and the other 2 we're just basically called as.... crap... Though it would be nice to see more of Sonic on the DS as well.

sonic on the DS will really revive it i think. they can get back to doing the side scroller thing, but make it 3d as well. it can be a plesant mix. should kick ass.

I actually wasn't too pleased with Secret Rings... It just sorta feels as if I'm there to sorta help sonic rather then control him. I don't feel like I have much control... it's still probably one of the best 3D sonic's, but it wasn't anywhere near perfect.

yea, no one said it was, its just simply better than the others. but like i said, the DS should be amazing.

Does anyone else find that his name stretches that portion of the screen, forcing the actual posts to be about 2 inches wide? If it's just me, I'll try and fiddle around with my settings, but it's doing that to everybody, you may want to rejoin with a shorter name.
