So does the game still use radial menus for combat and dialog options on the PC?

Only for dialog. The combat menu has a different interface than the x360.

Yes, every DirectX 9+ game must support the 360 controller.

I think it's only Games for Windows games that must support the XBox360 controller.  Any game with the GFW label has to support it.  I don't think Mass Effect 2 has the GFW label.

Possibly things changed with the newest version of DirectX, but I know with DirectX 9 it was a requirement that it had to support the Xbox 360 controller.

Perhaps they just didn't provide the mappings for the controller?  Is there not an ini file you can futz with?

buy an xbox 360 controller, that you can play games that other controllers can't in PC.

I'm reading no though. They're saying there is no controller support for PC version.

That's odd. They removed some of the more useful the quick keys from the game for some retarded reason - you'd think they did to make pad support easier.

Then again, one could just use JoyToKey or something similar if they wanted to use a pad in the game - though there might be some analog stick-related issues.

I don't know how someone thinks all Games for Windows stuff has to support the 360 pad. That's not true. Many games do not. It's all dependent on the game developer
