I liked theprofs explanation earlier I would only add that during busy peak times the channel/pipe can be emptied quicker and more supplies be in the supply chain. In particular decisions are made about Air Frieght versus shipping. Shipping from Asian would to the US for example would normally take in excess of 10 days on top of that they need to clear customs which can add another 4 days. These could easily be big shipments during the busy replenishment cycle.

I would then suggest adding something like this to a FAQ which may go a long way to helping with this problem.

ok ioi i want to ask something Is VC overtracked as jarrod claims ? i say this because when it comes to Valkyria 360 fanboys say it is overtracked because they can 't accept that it has topped all 360 jrpgs and why Japan preview most time it is proven wrong

I don't blame the staff for getting aggravated about all the whining, when people keep complaining and they need to explain the reason for their adjustments over and over. The numbers are just estimates people. They are not written in stone. So naturally sometimes there will be adjustments. You should consider is a good thing that they are at least trying to make the numbers more accurate. This is a free site so people really don't have any basis for the whining.

True, but a remark before yours also touches ground in some regard. Okay, it's not as often as the hardware-sales questions, but if this is not allowed, then the "this game is overtracked, no way it did ..."-comments also need to be bannable, no?

If after given official responses about a dozen times and people still bitch.  Yeah, i'd hope they would get banned for it.

It's not a simple "gee I think these numbers are wrong."


It's "These numbers must be wrong... I don't care what anyone says... lalalala" while plugging their ears up and holding their breath.  It's ridiculious, childish and really just should be banned for spamming.
