Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Wii is in for a hell of an awesome year.

Yeah 2010 has some really solid looking Wii games this year, oddly enough many are from 3rd parties and few are from Nintendo, go figure.. Monster Hunter 3, Zangeki (if it makes it here in 2010), Fragile, Last Story, Tales of Graces, Red Steel 2, Epic Mickey, Mario Galaxy 2, Zelda Wii (if it makes it), Xenoblade, Sin and Punishment 2, Super Monkey Ball: Step and Roll, etc..

And don't forget that Wii Vitality thing which could be huge (or not)

2010 will be overwhelming if you ask me.

Makes me worry about 2011. What games will there be?

Well, some games will be delayed to 2011, so there you go...

Personally I'm not worried, between games I bought in 2009 and I haven't finished yet or are still shrinkwrapped (...) and the games I know for certain are coming in 2010 and that I am certain I will buy, I have more than ny hands full, even if no games come out in 2011...

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

The Last Story is Nintendo's response to being incredibly popular but still not getting respectable Final Fantasy efforts.

My most wanted games of this year:
NMH2: DS
Fragile Dreams
Tatsunoko v. Capcom
Monster Hunter Tri
Sin and Punishment 2
----------------------------
I want to wait and see how well Last Story, Xenoblade, Red Steel 2, Tales of Graces, Epic Mickey, etc. are received and perform before a purchase. The aformentioned are must-buys however.

                          GETTIN' CHRONOCRUNK

I have high spectations for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, I really hope it's not a PS2ish game running on Wii, I hope it's a pretty effort since I love PoP games... Anyway, I'm waiting for all the RPGs, Arc Rise Fantasia, Last Story, Xenoblade and Fragile Dreams. I'm hoping we get tons of good Wiiware releases (Cave Story anyone?), more 2-D or 2.5-D games (last years had an incredible amount of them, I love them). I would love to see major franchises coming to Wii like Final Fantasy (main series please), and I'd love some Capcom announcements like a new Viewtiful Joe, a RE5 or SF4 port, more VS games... (I love Capcom =P).

Anyway, this years' looking great for Wii and DS owners, I'm glad I'm one of them :)

Every year for the Wii is an awesome year.

I'm guessing a Wii Play Plus, and Wii Relax Plus as sequels to maintain the casual market, while Mario Kart, Sports Resort and NSMBWii continue to chart in the top20 through 2011.

Then maybe more 3 or 4 Nintendo efforts with the franchises that are yet to appear - Star Fox, F-zero, Kirby, Luigi's Mansion(?);

It should be enough, because I believe Nintendo will pull out another console late 2011.

Zelda Wii will be the last epic hit on the Wii imo.
