Which web based mapping do you prefer?

Ford Sync: Made by Ford & Microsoft, allowing in-car communications and it works as an entertainment system.

Google Maps: Everything you love about turn by turn navigation on the road is what you need and its for free.

Sadly, Gartner and TomTom's shares in the GPS market has plunged.

Do you think that these kind of software should be made free and accesible to the public?
