Just to point out, ME1 and 2 are on PC as well. If you decision has been made already, I suggest Lost Odyssey seeing as how you look to be a RPG fan.

If you read my second post my pc died about a year ago, those are just games i own. Lots of people telling me to grab it ill check out some game play vids.

I think PC gaming is cheaper now than HD Consoles. Atleast against X360 (ou have to pay $50 if you want to play online there). Also, The PC versions of ME1 and ME2 are definitely better on the PC.

Soon you will need to buy a new GPU.

Also, live is cheap because of the things you can have and it's just $50 per YEAR.

The pc version of ME2 isn't really different (the difference is minor), did you saw some screens comparing both versions? You need to be a big graphics whore to see a big difference between both versions. The quality, action and everything else will be the same except for the gameplay (but it's up to your tastes, I prefer to play on my couch than in front of my pc on a chair).

No new GPU for me unless an awesome game requires it, if the graphics justifies the purchase, then it makes sense to upgrade to DX11 cards, not to mention only the most crazy gamers have eyefinity setups, I'm not going down that route for awhile, not until they get rid of the bars in the middle from monitor makers and cost less at least.

XBL is not cheap, a truly cheap experience would be free, with extra features, aka PC, which is a platform that's light years ahead on many many things since it's not limited to gaming and a vastly limited GUI.

The difference, mainly, is the smooth frame rate, I'm talking smooth, smooth, 60+FPS constant game play at higher resolution while I'm live streaming game play at the same time, big difference, and does have better effects, it's no competition on the superiority of the PC version, as usual. Not to mention you can still sit on your couch and a big HDTV to play PC games with dual analog if you choose to, that part's moot.

exactly, many people don't even feel the need to upgrade their PCs anymore. PC games are decreasing in requirements, PC games are cheaper and PCs themselves are are cheaper too.

$800~$1000 for a good gaming PC isn't cheap, only if you are a graphic whore or a pirate.

$800?! You can easily get a good Gaming PC cheaper than that, even if you don't build it yourself.

For example I found this great $700 Gaming PC in just 3min: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227182

Processor AMD Athlon II X4 620(2.6GHz)
Memory 4GB DDR3 1333
Hard Drive 500GB SATA II
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 1GB

And how about this decent $600 Gaming PC that is perfect for a GPU upgrade down the road since you save money from the GPU initially: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229124

Processor Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200(2.33GHz)
Memory 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC6400 DDR2 800 Dual Channel Memory
Hard Drive 500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 7200RPM HDD
Graphics NVIDIA Geforce GT220 1GB PCI-Express Graphic Card

And if you build the PC yourself, you can easily make a killing Gaming PC for only $400.

And yes, PC gaming can be cheaper than console gaming. PC games are much cheaper and there are always amazing deals every week. Hell, if you don't think that getting Mass Effect for $5 (or Mirror's Edge, or Dead Space, or...) is cheap, I don't know what is.

Awesome game or not, it's up to your tastes, right? You don't need to buy a new GPU because you have no interest in a new game but another person can have interest in a new game and will need to buy a new GPU.

Yes, xbox live is cheap because it's $50 per year, everyone can have it, $50 per year is an extremely low price to pay in order to have the gaming experience that the xbox live will offer to you. Free and cheap are different things and of course it's limited to gaming, it's console, we are talking about gaming experience here, not movies or anything else. keywe666 said that he wants to play games and not watch movies.

And no, you are wrong. Mass Effect 2 will be at a constant 30 FPS in both versions of the game.

Awesome game that has the visuals of DX11, not just taste, I'm talking actual graphical leaps. There is no game that fully uses DX11 atm and only ATI has the line of cards that support it so far at a higher price = no buy! If you just want a video card that plays modern games, you can find one for like 50-60 bucks for a 5 year old machine. /shrug I know my shit.

XBL is no different than PSN that's free, the only difference is cross game voice chat which is not worth that much money, pure whore shit, you can come out and admit it, or be in denial about it. For a price of 0 dollars per month, PC has better graphics, multiple types of input to choose for your liking, you can choose to sit on your couch in front of your big ass HDTV, all sorts of voice chat options, and instant access to FAQs if you wish to look for one, play full HD movies on the side while you game, or live stream music or videos while you game, the choice is all there for you, a full digital distribution service that gets your game for you while you are at work and don't have make a trip to the stores, all for free, and much more.

I have the PC version and I've watched somebody play the 360 version since mine is sold, been playing for the past 2 weeks, you are on crack, I know the difference inbetween 30 FPS and 60+ FPS, I have trained PC gamer eyes, PC games usually vsync locks at 60FPS if you turn vsync on, 30 FPS lock is jibberish, don't speak what you don't understand.

So... soon you will have to buy a new GPU, all you have to do is wait for a game that fully uses DX11.

XBL is no different than PSN? Now you don't know what you are talking about. Looks like you aren't really talking about gaming experience here, why are you adding movies/music as if everyone wants to watch movies in a console? Digital Distribution huh? No thanks, I want to be able to sell my games if I don't like it and I prefer physical media so I can put it on my shelf. Graphics huh? The graphics on the X360 and PS3 are great, there is no need for more, I am not a graphic whore.

BioWare themselves said that the game will run at 30 FPS, and they explained why. There is no need to lie, this is a fact, the game is at 30FPS in both versions.

Trust me, not for awhile lol, most mainstream PC gamers won't bother, it's too much money, it's not like most PC consumers are idiots, by then, the cards will have came down in price, it's how the market goes.

They have the exact same online gaming experience, I don't even know why you think they are different, just because you are paying, it doesn't mean it's better, go outside of the box, look back in, it's like wtf. Tell me something, lets say people don't want to watch movies while gaming, what's better about XBL vs a PC, you pay, for less, it's a joke. Want physical media? go out and buy the game then, there are retail copies of PC games too, there are more options on a PC than consoles, and that won't change, go retail, or go digital distribution, it's your choice, not sure if you wanna buy a game? torrent it first, like it? pay for it then. You are right about one thing though, I don't own consoles for graphics, I'm only a graphics whore when the game is on PC, consoles are good toys to have since I like some of the games only on consoles, and I like JRPGs.

My friend, 30FPS is on 360, there is no such restriction on PCs...... You can unlock the restrictions in UE3. They are not lying about anything, your info is simply wrong.....

The PC version caps at 62FPS by default btw, which is the typical 60FPS vsync cap number....

I didn't try it myself, but I heard from many people that it's dissapointing.

Hopefully Peter changes that in Fable 3.

dood, you can build somebody an i5 for 700ish and a 5770 card completed with case and psu that's actually worth shit with DVD writer and a 500gb HDD with 4 gigs of DDR3 1333, gotta go for the i5 750.

Try tales of versperia, you might like it. Also, download shadow complex. I got to beat it for free from the glitch when it came out and it was an amazing game.
