Many of you probably heard that Splinter cell will not have spys vs mercs. If you played double agent you know that they dumbed the multiplayer down so bad. I for one was outraged and complained to ubisoft back then to bring back old spy vs mercs from ct and pt. Now with the new game on the horizon, Ubi decides to scratch the spys vs mercs gametype completely. Ct and Pt were amazing, it sad that I may never play a true spys vs mercs this gen or ever.  Discuss your thoughts.  FYI i am not buying it....Ubisoft screwed up agian.

Umm. . . never played Chaos Theory, I don't buy stealth action titles for MP so. . . this doesn't affect me in the least. I'm guessing it's still going to be an awesome game, why would one MP mode being missing kill it for you? Also, where is the link to the info? Last I heard this wasn't confirmed.

I really don't buy this type of game for the multiplayer. I'm still picking it up on day one.

its stupid for you not to buy the game because of multiplayer @_@...DAY 1 for me =)

the single player and coop will be amazing...but the game mp back in the day was incredible. It took skill to win each match and players were very competive....the game took alot of teamwork and the maps design in both pt and ct were brilliant. The game multiplayer was ahead of its time when it came out. No reason for ubi to not make it into the game. Ill prolly end up picking it up used since no stores around here rent games.

Spy vs Mercs was awesome. Although playing as the Spy was always a lot more interesting for me.

Its a shame to see it left out. I will still pick it up at some point, just not right away.

This in my opinion is one of the things ruining gaming today...the game is supposed to be a man vs the world affair but yet people want Multiplayer? Seriously people, learn to play by yourself, it's really not that hard. You don't need someone else with you to have fun! You can do it by yourself. Boycotting a game specifically built for single player because it lacks a multiplayer option is pretty stupid in my opinion.

But hey, to your elbow I offer you more grease.

while i loved the old ones mp, (double agent rocked too btw) the story and presence of micheal ironside, added to the best stealth game around, make this a must have for me regardless of online.
