I personally would not mind ME2 multiplayer akin to Pinnacle station.
But before you start saying "Are you f**king stupid strategyking? Pinnacle station sucked! Look at the Meta, even!"
Pinnacle station was Late DLC developed by an outside party (to my knowledge). It was glitchy, short and shallow. But it gave us a preview of things to come:
Shepards apartment
Focus on combat
The Ahearn survival mission was an exact copycat of the survival part of the collector attack ME2.
One of the things I found interesting was that as shepard, you were competing with seperate computer opponents (their records never changed, but you get the point) to get the best time.
I think with ME2's new focus on combat, a little former spectre on spectre action would be a cool way to link the ME2 communitty
I don't just mean in-game leaderboards either: Actual combat with each other. It wouldn't have worked with ME1, since the powers were a little unbaleanced, but in ME2, I think it could work. The game just suits it alot more. And don't worry whiners, it wouldn't even be intrusive. It would give people more playtime with the game between DLC releases.
And as a bonus, it will have solo missions and DLC compatibility between ME1, maybe making the original pinnacle station crap worth it to an extent.
Opinions?
