^^yeah i remember that issue, if something came up i'd have to loose half an hour or so of gameplay, usually forcing me to replay some stuff, but i end up doing that anyway since it's hard to get all the level badges the fist time around

An update on this:
Through an "unnamed source", it looks like De Blob 2 has been delayed. Why?
The Wii version was due out this Xmas, with the HD versions next year. But both MS & Sony complained about this, and said unless the HD versions had a lot more content - they would boycott the game.
So the Wii version is now being delayed, and all 3 skews released at the same time. Pity IMO.

I think this is great news. I loved the first game but had some issues with it, namely the jumping mechanism. There were a couple other trifles, but I thought it was a great concept and it was well presented. I was hoping it'd hit later this year, but hopefully they'll take the rest of 2010 to kind of 'set the game up', as I've heard they are working on tie-ins, maybe a cartoon or something like that? to get the brand out there more and create more awareness. Bring it on!
Bah!

Shams, do you have a link for this. It's not that I do not trust you but this is just too funny. Why would two companies that focus on the so called core gamer care about a title like De Blob 2? Do they really think that this title is a reason for the Wii's success? This gen is providing a lot of laughs.
If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
I definitely don't have a link, and you'll probably never hear this mentioned in the media. But I'm 99% certain its happening - unless things change (maybe Ninty will come back with some counter offer, or THQ will decide to release for Xmas anyway).
Its probably more "policy" from MS/Sony than anything else - definitely sounds believable to me.
Anyway, from what I heard the team wasn't that unhappy - as it gave them more time to balance/polish the game.

It's not that I did not trust him. It's just that something like this is so unbelievable even if it is their policy. Especially for a game like this. Not that Deblob is a bad game. It's just not the big budget game that these two companies tend to fight over, like GTA, Final Fantasy, and Call of Duty.
