Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Would you like to see Mario&Sonic on a platforming big adventure together?

IMO It should be 2D side-scroller with 3D visuals, A cross between the world of the Mario and Sonic franchise, A decent story and multiplayer.

You think NSMBW have legs? This would sell just as much, but I don't think more than. This is just my personal prediction.

So, tell me if you are interested in this idea. And if you don't mind, give a prediction of your lifetime sales on this.

maybe 20 years ago . . .

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

No. They really don't match. Although their games together are not good (I mean the Olympic series), they should stay there.

If it involves them sharing the same bedroom...sure!

No. I don't the the 2D play styles meshing well.

However a Mario & Sonic RPG could be good.

But they've now co-starred in 3 games. Isn't it getting a little old already?

I think fans of both have really wanted them in some sort of adventure game instead.

Ah well, so far it seems no Core gamer is interested anyway.

It would be... interesting, for sure.

Hell yeah!

Made by nintendo, though. I don't trust Sega.

No.

Mario & Sonic play too differently and I'm sure some pacing or gameplay would be sacrificed because of it.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Nope!

But Nintendo could buy sega and produce their games! That's heaven!
Sega has the most good "dead" franchises in the business. And nintendo has the most good money in the business. Wonderful combination!
