In spite of Namco's recent financial troubles (link) Troy Baker -- the guy responsible for voice acting Yuri Lowell -- has assured me that the localization of Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 is complete. He did not, however, reveal an exact release date for the game.
I was a bit skeptical myself since he seemed a bit repressive when discussing anything related to Tales of Vesperia. During the course of our conversation he made several attempts to try and veer the conversation away from Tales. My guess is that Namco wanted him to keep hush hush about the whole project, hence his public denial of a port in several major news publications.

Just to clarify: All that I can confirm is that the translation for the PS3 enhanced port is finished and finalized, and that a release date has not yet been determined. But with Namco's recent financial troubles a little skepticism is justified.
Anyway, we discussed some other games and anime such as Angel Sanctuary, Final Fantasy, etc. He seemed like a really nice guy. Down to Earth. He's cool and approachable. I don't think he would lie about this.
