Good opening, beat the other two DS remake's opening weeks. This reminds me I still have to buy Dragon Quest V.

Man I have a lot of Dragon Quest to catch up on. I've only played the first 3, and I want to be somewhat up to speed when DQIX comes out. Although this isn't exactly the type of RPG known for its story anyway.

The story in IX isn't really related to the other ones, so you don't really need to play them for IX. You should play them because they're fun games though. IX is good as well, I enjoyed that one a lot.

Anyway, good opening sales for DQVI. I'll pick it up eventually, I'm sure.
