How to Read the Chart: "The Last Gen Sales" column is the number of copies in millions the game sold last gen. The "% change in Game Sales between Generations" column shows how much the sales of the game have changed this generation.  A negative percentage means the game has sold less this generation than the game in the franchise last generation sold. The % Change in Platform Size between generations" column, is just how this gen's platform size compares to last gen.  EX. the PS3 has currently sold 82.46% less than the PS2 has sold. Below the black font, will be a different color, which is the games(s) in the franchise from this generation, that last gen's games are being compared to.

sales are pretty much the same,
but some games would have benefit from a console that had the ps2 status last gen, going over 100 million with all demographics targeterd.
this gen it split up between all 3.

Interesting to see Resident Evil 5 have so high sales. I guess the changes they made that pissed me off made more people interested in the series. Oh well.

As for Mario Party, wow. That's no small increase.

Well compare for GTA compare the amount of ps2 to Xbox 360/PS2 consoles. Thats why GTA IV didn't sell as much as past games. Other wise nice to see new IP's stepping it up. Good job with this list.

Pretty interesting, nice to see that Nintendo is up on almost all accounts. There are tons of games I'd suggest to add to the list, but I'm afraid their data probably doesn't exist. One such example is the Prince of Persia-games.
