I started playing video games in 1974, when my parents bought Pong. I have enjoyed gaming ever since.

I got my NES in 1993 I think.. so 15 years or so

since about 1997 so i guess thats about 12 years as well. I was three when I started playing those putt putt games on pc. I got my Gamebuy in 2001. But I was playing starcraft at 5 years old So I allways say that pc gaming is where it started for me. But my first home console was the gamecube in 2002, then the wii on release day and in november 2008 the xbox 360 and im getting a ps3 in april.

coming up to 33 years

I have been playing games from 1980 onward, I built my first ZX80 ( Not the 81 ). It only came in kit form and it was white and you had to type your games into it from a book, it only had 1k and that was enough because typring 1k with a silly keyboard was hard work. The I got a Zx81 and ZX Spetrum with 16k. Next was a big jump to Commadore 64. But I also had a Grandstand console and then a Atari, then came the Amiga and I think at this time I also had a Dragon 32 which I wrote games for and sold to magazines. After this came the PC days as Wolfenstine and Doom took over my life. Then from then on to CD32, PS1,PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. I have probable left out a few that I have fogonten about but I have probably played more gaming hours then most on this site have lived

Hmm...iirc, I started gaming somewhere around 1982 with the ColecoVision (i loved that thing).  Defender and Centipede FTW!  Since then, I've had an NES, N64, GC, Wii and DS.

On the PC side of things, I started out playing Wolfenstein 3D, King's Quest and Doom.  These days its just EverQuest.

A bit over 20 years. First system I played was the Coleco, the first I owned was the NES.
