forgot to add GT5, but it's fixed.

Keep in mind that some of the games are likely to not even come in 2009, like GT5, Diablo 3, FFXIII and Mass Effect 2.

You think that Diablo III will have more success than Final Fantasy XIII

Also, Lord of the Rings Conquest top in action adventure, have you seen any of the reviews? And Uncharted 2 at 8, have you not noticed the most anticipated games on this site, and the fact that the original has sold 2.5m

Diablo 2 sold atleast 8 millions, and the sequel should be even more successful.

the LotR game I thought it was only coming out later in the year. I did not know it had such low reviews. That is the risk of expectations/estimations. Uncharted may sell 2 or 3 millions, but the other games are multiplatform and can outsell Uncharted 2 because of it.

This is a sales perspective, right (it's in the sales forum after all).

The Godfather 2 does not belong on that list. It is unlikely that the title will pass 2M combined, if even 1M (see previous Godfather sales: http://vgchartz.com/games/index.php?&results=50&name=godfather&console=&keyword=&publisher=&genre=&order=Sales&boxart=Both&showdeleted=&region=All&alphasort=)

Halo 3: ODST will definitely be bigger than Bioshock and Wolfenstein. Probably Street Fighter and RE5 as well.

I also feel that this list is a bit meaningless, as there are going to be released far more titles than are currently announced, especially on the biggest platform.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

We will see about Diablo, but I still have a problem with Uncharted 2 being so low, it is below APB and Alan Wake, both PC360 games, I just can't see it being outsold by all those games

obvious pc fanboy making a most anticipated game for 2009 thread hmmm....

Just made a few changes, mostly in the action-adventure top10.

I made a few changes and Uncharted 2 jumped to 6th. As I said, Uncharted 2 is at disadvantage because the other games are multiplat, and Alan Wake is a game that should appeal greatly to both PC and Xbox 360 fans (I can see it do atleast 1 million in each of them). APB has alot of potential, and just like any MMO it could sell for ages on PC, plus the added bonus of console sales.

Killzone 2 should be one of the most successful action games this year, but I foresee Quake Live to have a massive fanbase, possibly even dozens of millions of people playing it every month. With super-low requirements, and the rise of Online gaming and advertisement, Quake Live is the perfect western shooter to penetrate the Asian gaming market.

Diablo 2 possibly sold better than any Final Fantasy game, and is still selling.Diablo is a massive franchise.
