So, mass opinion becomes fact?

You can't tell me you have never liked something that the mass opinion said was unfavorable in some way. And if you do, that makes you a bit of a sheep. :)

This way hyped to be the xbl killer and yet it dropped so fast you couldnt see it.

Home doesnt have the luxury to raise the arguement of "you dont like the genre" or "it gets better as you keep playing" because it is an app not a game.

And how do you measure an app? With if its useless or not , and it is useless no question about it.

It isnt even about mass opinion and to prove it list all the USEFUL things you can use in home.

@J

There are GOBS of useful things that you can do in Home.

I spend hours at a time in Home, and never get bored.

That being said, it's also infinitely more useful than staring at my NXE avatar, which is completely useless, btw.

We'll miss you George.

@the J man

Well you have to define what is "useless" or "useful" ^^ To you I'm sure you won't find anything useful that home can offer simply because you don't want to. Whereas I have already added a good 15 people to my friends list of whom we founded a friendship based on the silly nature of general conversation and creepiness :3 It was awesome!

I spent a good few hours putting together a maze of couches so that when I invite people to my room, they get stuck and have to furniture teleport all over my room. Totally badass ;)

I got to go to the movie theater where a fairly lengthy trailer of the new res evil movie was playing (of which I'd never seen before mind you), and I got to put my badass bubble maker down in front so that people would bitch at me to turn them off :3

Echochrome suit + pop and lock dance = foundation for a new religion.

Home is badass, and I'm sorry you can't see the charm :P It's just not for people like you I guess. The 2million + people who decided a santa hat was worth the purchase in this "useless" world probably disagree with you.

"GOBS" isnt specific enough and makes me think even you think there is nothing useful in home.

And dont bring NXE into this because it slaughters home in the useful department.

It adds netflix , full hd installs and higher resolution support for monitors, easier marketplace to access , expanded in game dashboard.

Thats 5 more useful things that NXE has over home.

I was about as specific about it's usefulness as you were.

However, in NXE, you can't walk, move furniture, play pool, play bowling, play mancala, have a clubhuouse, sit down, dance... ect. ect.

But, NXE does have choppy HD Netflix streaming, and a little guy that you can't do anything with.

Well the J man is sorry he cant make crap into gold but what you listed is not useful at all.

What you listed in your post was like that mike myers crap people did in cod4 because they were bored of it (which is not a good sign since home was released last month). You trying to make the best of a bad situation and that only makes the app a little more barable but not better.

And what does this add exactly? Half the crap is flash games and the rest.... well lets just say the J man has no comment for them.

Netflix is surprisingly smooth , even with hd content so your wrong there and why are you commenting on the avatar , it wassnt one of the useful features the J man mentioned.

@J

It adds everything, to those who enjoy it.

The fact that you don't does not make it a fact that it sucks.

Look, my point is, there are MILLIONS of people who enjoy Home, if you don't enjoy it, that's your opinion. But telling people they are flat out wrong for enjoying it is pretty self centered.

The usefulness of any application comes down to how much the specific person enjoys it.

I.E.

Your opinion =/= fact.

I won't pay for live gold. Period. Therefore everything Xbox live has to offer is pointless and rather worthless :P

Home > XBL gold to me ^_^ There's an opinion for ya.

And your right, it's people trying to turn crap into something... which I had no idea was the synonym for fun, but hey! You learn something everyday right. It's a free service that some people (y'know, the non-demanding, don't hate everything, not so quick to whine types) can sign onto whenever they feel like it cuz it's.... oh I dunno FREE @_@, talk to fellow gamers, and find yet another way to enjoy our console.
