Forums - Sales Discussion - Will the wii eventally slow down?

Well of course it will eventually slow down. When it will is the question. And even then before the Wii's sales really go down Nintendo will probably release Wii HD and the sales will increase dramatically again. Basically Nintendo will be dominating for quite awhile.

On a sidenote, official VGChartz predictions expect the Wii to stop selling at roughly 45 million units and see PS3 and Xbox 360 each selling around 50 million units betwen 2009 and 2010.

Neos?

i'm going to smash my head against the wall.

*smashes head against wall* lol

Only 360, sony fans or wii haters say something like that.

well i don't represent the overall market but....

i still love my wii but software right now sucks. so i'm doing something i never expected to do: plugged in my 360 and going to buy a ps3 soon (at least i better since i already purchased 3 games for my non existent system). i love nintedo, i love motion controls, but more than anything i love games. so at least until the end of the year it's my wii that's getting unpluged.

There are better and less painfull ways to commit suicide.

BTW, the Wii will sell less than the (fake) HD consoles this Christmas, according to this reliable article:

Oh, Kotaku. You never fail to bring the douche. And this posted just a couple days before NPD reports that the Wii has broken non-holiday sales records... again.
