On the topic of spooky Nintendo games, how are we feeling about Bayonetta? Do we think Bayonetta 4 is coming? Will Nintendo be publishing? Or do we think Sega will push forward solo, as Nintendo focuses on their fully-owned Platinum Games IP, Astral Chain? Seeing that Nintendo did support the Cereza spin-off back in early-2023, I do suspect Bayo has more of a future than Astral Chain; though in all honesty I do see Nintendo as wanting to pursue both. Though similar in gameplay and such (from what I've heard at least), Nintendo does have an extensive history of supporting multiple franchises with very similar gameplay loops, e.g. Paper Mario/Mario & Luigi, Big Brain/Brain Age, Switch Sports/Mario Sports, and so forth.

If there is a Bayo 4 is will be Nintendo publishing. Nintendo owns Astral Chain. Supposedly 2 has been in the works for some time but had a troubled development and then a lot of people left PG including the first games director. AC2 started over in 2022 according to rumor. I hope it comes out as it's now one of my fave Nintendo IPs along Xenoblade and Sin & Punishment.

Astral Chain sold well. Astral Chain does not play like Bayonetta. Very different games. Astral Chain also has dungeons that you solve puzzles. Using legion you use shoulder buttons and the right analog stick not Y & X like most PG games. Astral Chains skills and upgrades is more ARPG lite and a lot of the skills and UI color customization options are direct love letters and references to past games from Bayonetta to Nier Automata. AC is unique for a PG game much like W101 was. 

I will not hear any bitching about Bayo 3. Whiny babies. Game is great. None of the games have great writing. Bayo 3 plays great. I want both games to have a Switch 2 update to run better tho.
