I have seen speculations about this before. They helped a lot in creating the open world environment in Breath of the Wild so they are not unfamiliar with the IP. And they have had open positions for developers for an action adventure game for awhile.
I find it very plausible that they had the main part of development of the remake. It might tell us something about the direction the game will take.
In Elkjøp at the moment you can buy Metroid Prime 4 for about 15 bucks on Switch or about 22 bucks for the Switch 2 version. I bought four of each. Im not usually a reseller, but I will from time to time.
Anyway, I think Monolith Soft may have helped out, but I doubt they are the main developer on this.
The specs listed by Elkjøp might not be accurate/complete. Look at the language (written/spoken). It only lists English. I would expect more choice.

This is from 4Chan so take it with a grain of salt ofc, but if this is all accurate, then yeah we might be looking at a nice big open world OoT remake. @KLXVER
