Layoffs have hit Bungie. After the decline and eventual end of Destiny 2 and the lackluster performance of Marathon this is surely not a surprise. Incredible how so much could go wrong in just a few years for this once great developer.
Herman Hulst sent out an email as well. The majority of the Destiny team, some of the Marathon team, and those within SIE who do support work for Bungie will be included in the layoffs.

Majority of the Destiny team is crazy. Hard to tell what number of them remains, but hopefully a big enough group to do something else with the IP..
But yeah, if someone didn't believe D3 wasn't coming before, I have to imagine they do now.








Bungie at this point has to be down to what ~400 employees? Crazy as they were at ~1,600 when acquired.
