Very weak sales week after Christmas, shortages take a toll on the next gen.

Wait, is that literally 45 Series X and 40 PS5 sold in all of Spain? Those are ridiculously small numbers.

At this point, ridiculous is the strategy of releasing new consoles without stock....

I think both Sony and, specially, Xbox are going to have tough time to match what their predecessors have sold.

Damn...

The only thing interesting here is the difference between the two Xbox models. I suspect this year Xbox will be able to manufacture more Series S than X.

From gameindustrybiz, it seems like the first two weeks for Europe was extremely tight for next gen consoles, mentioned by Chris D, but the final two weeks saw an increase to where in the UK for the month of January, consoles sales are up 145% over the same month last year with the Xbox S|X winning out. I think that is going to play throughout Europe as data comes in for the rest of January.
