Would say those predictions would hold more water than several of the sales one done for X1 the start of the gen, don't remember you mocking those. Also don't remember you having a fork to pitch against a fellow Xbox fan that said for him the best PS4 game was God of War with a solid 7.5 score.

The first part of that is nonsense and irrelevant. As if I know and partook in every sales prediction at the start of this gen.

The last part is baffling. Why do I care what some “Xbox fan” thought of GoW? I don’t browse GoW threads, am I supposed to keep tabs on what every single “Xbox fan” thinks of every single game 😆

Love how you like to classify things you don't want to reply as nonsense.

You are very fast on name call others console warriors when you see MS being attacked, don't remember seeing you doing the same when PS is attacked.

I quite remember you being on the thread, it wasn't a GoW one by the way. Same as I remember you usually qualifying Sony games very low compared to even games not much very well regarded by most on Xbox. Wouldn't put behind you to evaluate Crackdown 3 above God of War.

It’s nonsense and thus not worth the time responding to it. Pretty simple stuff.

Youre telling me I enjoy some games more than others and some less than others? It’s almost as if like... everyone has their own opinions or something. Wild stuff.

By the way you’re talking to a guy who has spent more time this gen in a game rated 58 on Metacritic than any game from MicroSony. Hope that helps 👍

Not really big in name, either, but I digress.

And here's an important lesson going forward, reiterating the same prediction in different threads does not make it a new prediction in each thread.

Awesome lesson friend but it doesn’t apply here when you made predictions regarding four different consoles 👍 Actually you just made a Scarlett one in this thread, so make that five consoles. Hell you probably predicted it about Kinect, too 🤣

Someone needs to learn some math skills.  There have been only two consoles since I have been here, 360 and XBO, soon to be a third one.  And yes, I did make a Kinect prediction, which turned out correct, like many of my others regarding new versions of XBox HW.  The Kinect didn't help the XBO's situation, soon to be a very distant 3rd.  The S didn't help its situation.  The X didn't help its situation.  Hell, being $100 cheaper than the PS4 couldn't even help its situation.  What I got wrong was predicting that the XBO would be their last console, hence the 0 of 1.  Now, I believe that the Scarlett will be if they have another similar situation to the XBO.  Personally, I think it will turn out worse.  MS seems to think that may happen, as well, considering they want Gamer Pass on Switch and PS4/5.

Damn, was hoping for Rare Replay Deluxe (with Donkey Kong games and maybe Goldeneye if they can work out that licensing issue). But hey, never say never. I bet if Ori does really well MS may reconsider.

And plus - this doesn't necessarily mean we won't see GAMEPASS on Switch.. Man I'd love to play Overwatch and Forza Horizon 4 on my Switch in handheld mode..

What do you consider worse?

If Scarlett sells less but makes more money, is that a failure to you?

In what situation would that happen?  If the Scarlett sells worse, then that is fewer consumers to sell to.  If Xbox makes more money next gen in that scenario, it wouldn't be because of the Scarlett, it would be from them expanding their services to other platforms.

Scarlett can gain more memberships and sell less consoles than the XB1. Lets say 50m XB1 consoles were sold to the public, and only 20m were subscribers.

The Scarlett comes out and sells 40m consoles with 30m subscribers and considering Subs makes more money than Hardware (Hardware is always sold at a lost for most of its release) Also the Scarlett could sell more digital games which again profits more. Up the service subscriptions and digital output = more money especially when it adds up yearly.

You should know HW doesn't make you money, selling services and games does. Sure the more consoles sold helps sell the other two but if you market it correctly than you can find a bigger sub attach ratio as we know not all 100% of PS4 and XB1 customers actually pay for online and services.

SO if the Scarlett makes more money than the XB1, is that a fail in your books?

Alright you two.... be honest... how long until the next Steam/Switch/PS4 announcement from a Microsoft Studio?

Maybe, probably, not right now, no current plans...

How long does this PR quote last? until its proven wrong?

Idk I don't work for Microsoft.

Look at this messageing.... 1day lateron.

"You know, we would like to see Game Pass on all platforms ultimately and I think that is a long term goal. We don't have any specific plans today, but we would love to see Game Pass really go everywhere." - head of gaming services Ben Decker (microsoft)

If games come day1 to Gamepass, and the "company plan" is to get Game Pass on all platforms (also consoles)....
Its a day lateron, and Microsoft managed to get PR to say something totally differnt than what was said yesterday.

Am I the only one that notices theres a communication issue over at xbox?
No one else see's this as a issue?

You're getting warmer buddy. There might have been only two consoles, but there have been iterations for each one. You did predict the Xbox One would be their last piece of hardware. But then they came out with the S, and you made up some BS about them giving hardware one more shot but if the S fails they'd be done. But then they revealed Scorpio and you made up some BS about them giving hardware one more shot but if the Scorpio fails they'd be done. But then they revealed Scarlett and you made up some BS about them giving hardware one more shot but if the Scarlett fails they'd be done. Idk about everyone else but I'm seeing a pattern. Something tells me if we see a "Scarlett Slim" or something in a few years, you'll make up some BS about them giving hardware one more shot but if the "Scarlett Slim" fails they'd be done. Also throw in that same prediction at the end of the 360 era. You've had an erection for MS leaving the hardware race for a long ass time lol

Again with the misrepresentation. First of all, I highly doubt I said that about the S. However, I did say that about the X. I figured it would be the last hurrah because of my actual prediction was still Xbox One would be Microsoft's last console. So, again, same prediction. 0 of 1. Now, we have the Scarlet coming out. We'll be able to test my second prediction of Microsoft leaving the console business.

And as I did say with the S, if there is a Scarlett Slim that doesn't change anything. Even if the system is failing, manufacturers will always find ways to make a product cheaper.
