Forums - Sony Discussion - God of War - Raising Kratos: Full Length Feature (Documentary)

"Raising Kratos documents the five-year, herculean effort to reinvent one of the greatest stories in gaming, God of War. Facing an unknown future, Santa Monica Studio took a massive risk, fundamentally changing their beloved franchise and re-establishing their rightful place in video game history. More than just a “making of,” this cinematic journey of second chances rooted in family, sacrifice, struggle and doubt follows game director Cory Barlog and those who chase perfection in art and storytelling. Witness the incredible defeats, the unpredictable outcomes and the down-to-the-wire tension on full display in this true-life redemption story."

This is a very interesting video about how the team struggled with setbacks and challenges, to go from an idea to the game we have today.
I especially liked the part where Shuhei Yoshida thought the game was "horrible" originally, seeing how Christopher Judge got involved, and the E3 reveal.
And then all the bugs that were still in the game when they were nearing the end of production and were supposed to have 0.

I'm actually currently in the middle of playing this game as well, so this is extra interesting for me to watch.
Obviously, there will be some spoilers in the video, so bear that in mind if you haven't played the game yet.

Thanks for sharing. I'll watch it tonight.

I can recommend The Last of Us: Grounded to all who haven't watched it:

And of course many of Noclip's documentaries about e.g. Horizon: Zero Dawn, Half-Life, DOOM, Final Fantasy XIV, Rocket League, The Witness, and Spelunky.

I gonna watch it. looks great

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

I just got to the part where Christopher Judge recalls the

Blades of Chaos scene

at 1:30:40 and as he gets emotional over it, and explains how he drew from his own life experience for it, that was a powerful moment...

I watched it the night of release. I really enjoyed it. I love Cory Barlog. And Christopher Judge is pretty awesome, too. He had a few emotionally affecting moments.

Cory Barlog is really nice : )
