 A free “Adventure Pack” add-on for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will launch on August 9. Free new bosses and quests for all players.
Here more infos:

  • Adventure Pack (free) – The Adventure Pack provides new challenges for experienced players. It adds additional floors to the Faraway Forest cave, upon clearing, players will be rewarded with new costumes for Evan and other characters. Players will have the opportunity to challenge themselves with even stronger new bosses: Blackhart and Zeta. Additional quests will be unlocked after completing the story and unique rewards can be acquired.
  • Season Pass DLC #1 – Available this winter, this DLC will feature a brand new enigmatic dungeon for players to explore. Evan and friends will plumb the depths of this cryptic dungeon facing increasingly stronger enemies while trying to reach its deepest levels. The journey will be difficult, but the reward will surely be worth it!
  • Season Pass DLC #2 – Expected to release early 2019, an additional story expansion of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be available full of exciting content. More details to be announced soon

    About time! I think I'm going to hold off playing it until all the DLC is out. I already watched my gf play for a few hours, so I know alot of the story already.

    I read that this game causes huge problems on the PS4 Pro, so it's been pushed way back in my queue. Hopefully they can get it fixed.

    That's awesome, can't go wrong with free. Good to know the release date of the season pass DLC as well.

    I still haven't picked this up yet, going to wait til all the DLC are out and maybe they'll release a complete version?

    Spent 40 hours playing the game.

    Though core game isn't good enough that DLC will make me come back.

    I've been intrigued about this game ever since the news about a patch came out.
    Something about making the game harder giving more rewards etc. Similar to how Tales does it.

    So combine that with this and I'm interested.

    What kind of problems? I have encountered none with my PS4 Pro and this game.

    little problems in march (@launch), but there is already an update - the game is running without problems and looks really very beautiful (on PS4 AND PS4 Pro). Everything is fine :) Greetings :)
