Surprisingly good :O

This was the dlc I was looking least forward too, and it's really surprising how addictive it is. For those that don't know, the dlc dropped on the 15th of November. It has a pretty impressive avatar system and rewarding processing.

The multiplayer has kinda like a base building feature where as you progress you get access to new shops, quests, items and areas. It can be played online OR offline, and has lots of story and lore crammed in there to really satisfy the fans.

Has anyone else given it a try?

Maybe I could have tried this now if I hadn't sold my PS4 yet, finished the game and enjoyed it too, too bad it felt tedious to do all the sidequests.

It was last year after I bought it on February, a couple months later they announced the PS4 Pro(Neo at first), boy was I pissed at myself for not listening to my gut that a better version would come out after hearing all those rumors about neo and such lol, so yeah, after a couple months later I sold it, it's actually because of the boost in framerates and such that you could get on a 1080p screen and I thought this might be nice for all those exclusives that will benefit this that would otherwise be missing on the standard one, yeah maybe a shallow reason but still, that really pissed me off lol.

So you aren't buying another one?

I will, next year, this year I'm focused on the Switch and a little PC gaming, I'm just waiting to see if my local store gets a hold of the MHW PS4 Pro bundle.

That's too bad, it's really worth it. But I imagine you are buying the game again on PC?

Yes. I'll be buying the game again on PC after I build my new PC. FFXV and GTAV will be my first two games I will get after I build my new PC.

As for FFXV on PS4, I'm still doing sidequests and hunts - recording them for my YT channel.

As a game overall, its story is piss poor compared to previous titles but I'm still having fun exploring and battling. The interaction between the 4 main characters makes up for the poorly executed story lol.

Episode Prompto makes up for some of the story issues, and to a far lesser extent Gladios. Did you also see the added story to chapter 12. It was two new cutscences, they didn't added much, but It was something. Also episode Ignus looks decent and this comrades DLC adds a TON of lore and includes characters from the movie. Aside from that they have promised another year of dlc/extra content for the game, so it will be interesting to see what becomes of it.

I do agree that the story was rather piss poor though, it had so much potential.
