I did delay this voting thread in order to let the hype die down, but we still have a clear winner. Two ties this round and TriForce Heroes remains last with no points once again :p

Eh, I grew up with the 2D ones and I think the 3D ones are just superior. The only 2D one I think compares to them is ALttP, but even that I think might be an influence of nostalgia.

I grew up with the 3D games and I always thought Zelda were overrated until I played the 2D ones. So it is not always because nostalgia now.

Same here really. I thought the series was overrated until I played minish cap. Even though I think BOTW is the best zelda, I still think the 2d ones are better than the 3d ones overall. 



Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

I wouldn't say there was a huge difference in how people voted both times; the major difference is that a new game was added which got a lot of votes.

Interesting thread none the less! I missed out on voting, but it'll be interesting to see a similar thread next year, or two years from now, to see how BOTW fares then

Well, I own 7 of the main Zelda games, but unfortunately I haven't beaten any of them!! So I wasn't able to participate in this thread. I will have to rectify that soon (especially since I have made it to the Water Temple in OoT).
