It was announced at MS E3 that scorpio would be getting a patch for the witcher.  It surprised some because they had previously said they couldn't give resources for the Pro patch.  

Good news emerging now that ps4 pro owners will also get an upgrade.  I've still not played this but will be given a copy for free later this year so it's nice to know I'll be playing a Pro version.

Seems they are doing both for the "Xbox One X" & "PS4pro" at the same time.

It had boost mode but that's a Sony feature.  The devs said they couldn't give resources for a Pro patch.  Looks like they changed their mind. 

I've wondered about this for something since Witcher 3 is one of the higher profile titles on the PS4.

Nice! I've been holding off playing it.

I played it for an hour when I first got it then got distracted, might as well wait for the pro patch before I start it proper.

I'm guessing the 2.5+ million PS4 Pro's sold in the last 8 months probably helped change their mind a bit. Glad to see another game getting native Pro support. It is good for CDPR to get some scalable console development under their belt.

Nice. I felt the game ran well on Pro anyways without boost mode, so any extra bennies are nice. Will be nice when I replay it for a better ending & the expansions.

Played this game for 10 months! I mean solely for 10 friggin' months! No other games played during that time. From main game to all DLC. And guess what, I'll do it all again after this patch. LOVE THIS GAME!!!
