Gen 3 is my favorite by far. Pure joy.

Not statistically the best team but I love the design and their movesets.

I'll name one: Jirachi.

Jirachi is able to make my wishes come true, so I can just pick him and wish a handful of Masterballs and for X Pokémon to appear in front of me and I'm done. heck, Jirachi's power gives me the opportunity to make God (Arceus) appear on Earth! That's why he's my favourite leggendary, his Cutness is directly proportional to its power= pretty much infinite

I chose these 6 because they're my six favorite Pokemon.  BTW Gen 3 best gen.

1. Umbreon (Favorite type is probably dark, and probably my favorite eeveelution)

2. Empoleon (Also like water type a lot, and penguins are my favorite animal so no brainer)

3. Articuno (Best legendary bird)

4. Arcanine (Best fire-type in my opinion, just like it a lot)

5. Gengar (Ghost is my second favorite type, and think Gengar is just pretty awesome)

6. Sceptile (Second-best grass starter)

Just had a quick scroll through all 7 billion Pokemon. Picking 6 is damn hard. Maybe I should have done a team per generation

My top 4 are all from gen 4 and I call them core 4! Pearl version was my first Pokemon game and all these years later I'm still using the core 4, and I don't think that'll ever change! I couldn't name a 5th favorite Pokemon though, as there are a ton that I like a lot but not one significantly more than the rest. I'll just put Infernape for now since he's currently on my team. Last but not least I'm reserving a slot for the dolphin pokemon, we all know it's coming in Sun & Moon!
