I am liking their strategy of having xbox games come to PC and buying one copy and being able to play across multiple devices.
Microsoft has two platforms for consumers, Xbox and Windows... And ever since the Xbox launched, specially the 360, they have been largely ignoring Windows as a gaming platform and purely focusing on Xbox which I didn't like cause Microsoft did make great games for PC prior to it. So when they said "we are going to commit to PC gaming," I was very skeptical...
But now... Its clear that they are indeed going to commit and I am very happy for it. Sure it sucks that its Windows 10/Direct X 12/Windows Store exclusive but oh well. I knew this was going to happen and they are giving Windows 10 away for free to w7 and w8 users and I certainly upgraded to it after backing up my data. Windows 10 is a pretty great OS imo so its not the worst thing in the world. At the end of the day, we are getting more games for PC and MS is keeping their promise of being committed to it for now. So I like it overall.
