So, I'm sure some people around here heard of SethBling. He's basically a brainiac YouTuber who got famous for his neat Redstone stuff that he built in Minecraft, though recently he's been playing a lot of Super Mario World. As expected, he used a lot of his tech know-how in his SMW speedruns and figured out a lot of exploits/glitches and ways to manipulate them, and he's got a lot of neat videos about this stuff, but this thing takes the cake.
Basically, he and a couple other guys managed to find a way to make the vanilla SNES execute instructions by exploiting SMW. A version of "Flappy Bird" was programmed in Assembly, and Seth used the SMW exploits in order to copy the code into SMW, which resulted in a fully functional Flappy Bird game running in Super Mario World on the SNES without any hardware mods.
