Bought the digital deluxe version last night, mostly for my 8 year old who is crazy for PvZ. The game requires Internet at all times on all platforms now, which is a downer. You do get split screen for all modes now. Just.. so much content, so much to do. Lots of different characters and abilities.

Idk if it counts as a new IP (though it is radically different than other PvZ games) but it has to be one of the best new ones of this gen.

Really liked the first one. Looking to get the new one as soon as my internet is working again. Hopefully it has a decently sized community that sticks around a while.

I am sure it will. My son was still playing the first GW up until yesterday and he was always in active matches.
