The combat may end up better than U4, but I think there's almost no way it'll review better than U4. Naughty Dog is adapting to the changing video game landscape well. They showed that in TLoU with vastly improved gameplay and also making things more open/less linear. They've already shown they're doing these things in Uncharted 4 as well.

I did enjoy the first Tomb Raider Bc of the gameplay. Definitely had fun playing it. Tho the story, characters, and voice acting were awful IMO, which precludes it from being a true favorite of mine.

I agree. Uncharted had always been more "straight forward action" while this new TR is way more exploration focused (but does action reaaaaaally well!).  But that didn't stop us from comparing Gears of War 3 and Unchartered 3 and other titles.

It's all in good fun. And there's a good chance I'm wrong. Find by me, though. That means another amazing title to look forward to!

You are right, Uncharted 4 won't be as good as Rise of the Tomb Raider. Uncharted 4 will be better!

UC gameplay is dynamic depending on the level which is based on story and set pieces (check demos) compared to tomb raider and what you are saying are completely subjective because both are not similar in action gamplay and weapons handling.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

there's more to a game and than just gameplay
sure tomb raider playss better, but it heavily apes uncharted styles and came 2 WHOLE YEARS after so of course it played
multiplayer is far better in uncharted
characters are far better too
drake is way more likeable
so while tr played better than the old uncharted series , uncharted is a way way better package

oh boy.. i know it's your opinion and i love bold predictions but oh man it's Naughty Dog and it's being made by the team that was in charge of UC2 and TLOU and have you even seen the gameplay ?? and did they ever let us down aaaand they didn't have a game below 88 on meta since UC1 so this is just ridiculous to me sorry. xD

look i don't want to start a fight with anyone these new Tomb Raider games look cool but they are so Uncharted it's not even funny

Post-TLoU ND can do no wrong. 94 meta easily solely because that's what reviewers do. You'll get GameSpot giving it an 8 and then everybody else will be 9+, most of those leaning 10s.
