Is this really the future generation?

No this has always been the people who go to these sort of things.

I could only make it through 2 questions, after that I started skipping and even then I couldn't make it halfway through.

GOOD GOD that was too much.

I wonder how many of these people are on game forums.

This videos cringe-value was as overhyped as Gen 8

Seriously though, it wasn't anything bad. Just a lot of nervous kids unable to get their question across properly and probably because they're meeting the people who made their favourite game.

I thought the devs answers to questions were rather cringe-worthy though. No need to keep getting them to repeat questions that don't make any sense, just spout off some vague BS loosely related to what they're asking.

For example, the 'how much wham is optimal' They could have easily just said something like 'for most servers XX GB dedicated RAM is more than enough and should be the initial start' and be done with it.

I would have made a George Michael joke.

I have an 8 year old Son who plays Minecraft with his friends almost every day.  He details to me his experience with the game all the time and its crazy the things that come up from those discussions (mostly him talking and me sort of listening.  Even if it was not just kids, I have seen many QA sessions like this where people would ask the oddest questions.  When it kids it just goes to another level because what is important to them is not the same as it is for adults.

If my child asked a group of adults how many of them had autism, ... I'm not going to finish that sentance.

Actually that was a very interesting question I thought.  The way I was looking at it was that the kid was either Autistic or know some friends that are and wanted to get that approval that people with Autism can create games.  Not sure why the panel made it personal because  know quite a few people in professional careers like engineering, Development and Doctors who have some level of Autism.

That was the most intense, concentrated awkward I ever saw in a few minutes. Yeah, kids are awkward, but these aren't like most kids, probably not like most Minecraft fans either, my oldest nephew loves Minecraft and he's nothing like this. Fortunately...

Actually I disagree that these are not like most kids.  These probably not the popular kids or the ones who care about image or other stereotypes we see on TV but they are just average kids who probably just in an awkward point in their lives.  Most of you act as if you never encountered those awkward pre to teenage years where what was important to you probably isn’t the same for a lot of people.  Just seem like people looking down on a group like you see in grade and high school because the group of kids are not the popular bunch or care about what the popular bunch does.
