E3 is great, besides a few years where it disappeared, it's always been the biggest gaming event in the world. Anybody who is somebody in the gaming world will be there to flaunt their latest wares amongst trailers, gameplay, hands-on and never seen before reveals. The thing is a lot of gamers expect a lot of new reveals and shock announcements and end up walking away deflated.

I can guarantee for every realistics person who was happy with "'x' company's" performance at E3, there will be 2 people who had lofty expectations who claim it was a bad showing. You'll see post E3 '15.

People need to be realistic, and although megatons do happen, do not get your hopes up. This goes to PS4 fans who think everything Sony has will be revealed along with big 3rd party exclusives, to people that hang on to Phil Spencers every word.

Sit back, relax, get excited but keep expectations in check. You'll enjoy it more and it megatons do happen then great! :)

So does that mean Ninten fans are fine to get hyped? x ) I certainly am, and haven`t really been disappointed, except that one year with the Wii U`s first reveal. That was pretty bad, especially the fireworks bit.

I think it`s fine to get excited. What is there not to be excited about? This is one of the best events of the year in the industry, filled with great reveals and surprises. How can anyone not get over hyped?

Certainly get excited and hyped for realistic things. If you have been happy with most Nintendos E3 events then that's a sign that you probably are realistic of what to expect.

Some people expect way to much though.

I'm pretty excited for Sony's conference tomorrow, I'm expecting to see Level 5's new game, The Last Guardian and one of the rumored Sony Japan J-RPG's.

And if I end up disappointed, well I'll just deal with it, like BraLoD said.

I'm pretty excited, but probably won't be disappointed unless something really bad happens :p

I expect Nintendo to announce they are never making another console, MS to announce that they've bought every third party game in existence and no longer will make any first party, and Sony to only show TV and Wonderbook 2. There I think I've set my expectations right to only be pleasantly surprised.

My hype is already gone. There have been so may links there is nothing out side of the announcement of Shenmue 3 that could save e3 for me.
