After the development of Grand Knights History, Vanillaware worked on Dragon's Crown.

We've recently heard about Grand Knights Kingdom, so we'll hear about the sequel to Dragon's Crown?

I loved the archer from the first one *.*

Im not sure of the connection your making but Grand Knights Kingdom is being developed by Spike Chunsoft not Vanillaware. I dont think Vanillaware has ever done a sequel now that I think about...

EDIT: Yep, no sequels. They take what they did in previous game and build something else entirely on top of it.

Hmm, I`m not sure if they would do a 2nd one, but I would def be on board for it. The first Dragon`s Crown was so excellent... ; )

Good memories of the first one. Last game I got to play with my bro before he passed. Would love a second one.

To be fair, while they've never developed a sequel, they rereleased older crappier games with more content(see Muramasa the Demon Blade.)

 If they rereleased Dragon's Crown with nine more dungeons, a and b route to both, and had more characters plus a reworked system allowing more customization to previous characters(as there was only two ways at most to build each character,) I'd be fine with that.  Greatest side scrolling beat em up ever.

Or if they take what they did on Dragon's Crown to make a newer better game, I'd be fine with that too.  Dragon's Crown  was there best and best selling games by far, so you'd think they'd be trying to capture that magic again by making a bigger and better version.

The Vagrant never reached it's 20k goal, ended May 31, but this would likely have been an awesome game if it was funded. There's a gameplay video showing the game off and it's clear they got their inspiration from Dragon's Crown, and the gameplay looks really good. Maybe there'll eventually be a release.
