How many of these can coexist at the same time?

The market is too crowded as it is. 2 22.22%

Four is ok. 2 22.22%

Only one or two companies more can do it. 1 11.11%

As many as they want! NFCs for everyone! 3 33.33%

Digimon NFC game incoming. See results. 1 11.11%

Total:9

With Lego joining the NFC craze, we can be sure that kids will run to the store to buy these lego toys and parents are terrified of how much money will have to spend on them XD. But with other company jumping into this market, we have four big companies capable of a really strong line up: Activision with Skylanders, Disney with D.Infinity, Nintendo with Amiibo and Lego with Dimensions. Assuming that Nintendo will (eventually, when their output is equal to the Amiibo demand) make an Amiibo based videogame, the market for the NFC figurines is getting really crowded really fast. How many of this NFC games can coexist untill there is too much competition? Which companies could enter the NFC craze and be competitive at it?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I'm sure as technology improves, we'll be seeing more and more of these NFC figures.. However, the smaller companies will not be able to be successful as Nintendo, Activision, and Disney. I'm not even sure how successful LEGO will be either..

Nintendo will not make an amiibo focused game. I can promise you that. They're the only one doing a diffrent approach than the others on this whole NFC business.

Also, I'm pretty sure the Lego NFC franchise won't be the last one. More companies will try out that strategy for sure.
