Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile developers tri-Ace recently got bought out by mobile company called Nepro Japan, and while they will help their new parent company on smartphone games, they’ll continue to make games for consoles, too. Nepro Japan’s press release shares more on their future plans.

As previously reported, Nepro Japan aim to become the best group of game creators in terms of scale and quality with both tri-Ace and their other subsidiary company, Mobile & Game Studio, at their side.

Here’s a look at what they have planned for the two Companies going forward:

The rest is at Siliconera, but basically it sounds like Nepro wants tri-Ace to keep making console games for other publishers. Star Ocean saved!

Cool! Now we can hope for a Star Ocean: The Sixth Story: The Quest for the Fifth!!!!

Good, give me Resonance of Fate 2 Tri-Ace!!

While console devs look to diversify with mobile offerings, a mobile dev looks to diversify with console offerings. xD

God bless you.  You made my day.

Still don't care. They haven't made a good game in forever.
