I don't think you can use customzed moves in 4 Glory mode though can you?
Wow, this new Smash is definitively bad. Game-breaking combo? SMASH IS DEAD!!!11!!1!
MELEE4LIEF!
Wyrdness, you are most definitely incorrect. Tournament players are testing these custom moves to try implementing them into competitive play. It is not for casual players, this is for the highest level Smash players in the world. But really, why is this posted here? The majority of the people on here are the people that play For Glory all day (casual players) and will not care about it anyway.

For glory mode is for competitive players do you even know what you're talking about as it's the mode where the are no items, Miis or customs? Big tournaments don't allow customs unless the is a specific section for customs alone, the's no way a main tournament will only have customs it'd be like Evo only doing Omega SFIV, customs as far as I'm aware are only in 2v2s in tournaments, Evo are considering having a custom section but as mentioned it's separate from the main S4 side.
The most competitive players do not take For Glory seriously. They use it to maybe train a secondary and good for silly stats but serious players play offline (mostly), play on nintendodojo.com, and/or take tournament results over For Glory because 99 percent of people on For Glory are not on that level. For Glory is an introductory to casual players about the potential of comtetitive play.
Yes, I know what I am talking about, I am a TO and a high level player in Florida. And have been in the Smash scene since 2003. And I did media work for nintendodojo.com (formerly allisbrawl.com). Look me up.
And reading the rest of your response, I can tell that you are not part of this community like some will think. I am watching out for you, and your fraud ways. Customs are being seriously considered for EVO. I am very adamant that they are not legal. And no, not for specific customs, but for every custom deemed not broken by the community.
There is a way, thee organizers of EVO have asked the community (mostly top TO's and top players) what they think of customs and there is a huge war over it right now. Smashboards.com has all your information.
Big tournaments do not allow customs yet... EVO is making a serious decision on if it should be the first. Why do you think York mentioned how far he thought he might get at EVO in doubles (even though doubles will not be offered at EVO)? Because this video is part of the testing of customs for a potential custom move rule set at EVO. The testing has been at work since the 3DS version dropped. A division in the community has been prevalent ever since testing began. It sucks and is messy but I definitely know what I am talking about.
By the way, Mii's are legal in tournament play... For Glory is not an offline event and is not taken as seriously by serious competitive players. It is like, the For Fun of the serious players.

So in other words everything I said is spot on and you've failed to counter any part of it but you're a "player from Florida" so lets ignore logic for now, For glory mode is key in EU where it's far harder to meet up with players and communities so it's a vital component in competitive players over here and new players to fight against human controlled players.
Other than APEX, there have been no huge tournaments. EVO is only the second and if it allows customs then we are at 50 percent. There are a great many tournaments that run custom moves (as a test) but none as big as APEX until the potential happenings at EVO. So your point is only correct by default. And APEX rule set was in stone before Smash 4 even came out. I am really going hard on customs for EVO because it is the first large scale event to give customs serious consideration.
And I did not say I am a top player to throw weight around. I said it because you asked if I know what I am talking about. Like, I am not part of the community. I also mentioned doing media for the game (but you ignored that) if being a top player does nothing to fancy you.
If EVO allows customs... ergh... I do not want to think about it.

It's custom, so it is not going to affect the game to a significant degree. I'd liken it to as having items on with all the op shit abled

Funny you said this. I just asked Mr. R after you wrote this. I literally went to facebook and asked him:
Muhammad Ahmed-Hassan: Just a quick question. How seriously do you take For Glory mode?
Ramin Delshad: Hey there . I barely play for glory mode and when I do I only play my secondaries so not that serious LOL.
Muhammad Ahmed-Hassan: Thank you. I really appreciate it. I wanted to interview you after APEX but I was afraid your written English may not be so great. Again thank you.
